The R8 1:1 race car refers to a highly modified Audi R8, specifically tuned for Time Attack racing competitions. This car has competed in events such as the European Time Attack Masters at the Nürburgring, where it’s designed to achieve the fastest single lap time, showcasing its incredible power and speed.

EXTERIOR
Fat Cat’s exterior is fully made of carbon fiber. Aerodynamics is the main factor on the cars exterior design. Dynamic Aero Solutions Dr. Sammy Diasinos designed complete aero package for the car which is brought to life by the Profesional Amateur team. Fun fact: Fat Cat is the worlds widest known race car with width of 2,84 meters.

ENGINE
Engine is built from Audi 5.2 liter V10 engine with R8 1:1 signature connecting rods and pistons, twin turbocharged with Turbosmart products. Heads are custom built to provide maximal flow with teams self developed water to air intercooler system and exhaust manifolds. Power is delivered to the rear wheels through Holinger MXT sequential gearbox.

SUSPENSIONS
Suspension is made of 6 dampers in total. Main suspension is made with Öhlins TTX40’s. 3rd elements are custom built Tractive active dampers. Geometry is developed by Ristolainen Engineering using pushrods and links.
